About Middleton Community Village Hall
Middleton Village Community Hall sits at the heart of North Middleton, Midlothian, a welcoming space built by the community, for the community.
Managed by the Middleton Village Hall Association, a dedicated group of local volunteers, the hall exists to provide a safe, inclusive and affordable space for people of all ages to gather, learn, celebrate and connect.
Our original hall, built in 1985–86, was made possible through a loan from the former Regional Council, a grant from the Education Department and significant fundraising by village residents and committee members, supported by generous donations. It was a true community effort.
Twenty years on, that same spirit of collaboration ensured the hall’s future once again. Today, our new village hall offers modern, energy-efficient facilities designed to serve the evolving needs of our community — while preserving the strong sense of belonging that has always defined Middleton.
Conveniently located just off the A7, the hall continues to be a hub for social, educational and recreational activities throughout the year.
