Volunteering
Middleton Village Community Hall runs on the energy, kindness, and commitment of local volunteers. Every group, event, repair, coffee morning, and celebration is only possible because people like you give a little bit of their time, heart, and skills.
Volunteering isn’t about being an expert or having loads of spare time — it’s about community, connection, and doing something that genuinely makes a difference.

Why Volunteering Matters
🌟 It’s not just money that keeps the hall going, it’s people - Grants and hire fees help keep the lights on, but volunteers keep the community alive. From helping at events to supporting maintenance, from baking a cake to updating a noticeboard, everyone has something they can offer.
🤝 A little time goes a long way - You don’t need to commit weekly. Even one hour a month helps, whether it’s setting out chairs, helping with a fundraiser, or serving tea at a Coffee Morning.
🌱 It strengthens our village - Volunteers make Middleton more than a place to live, they make it a community. Each person brings something unique, and every contribution helps create opportunities for others.
😊 It’s good for you too - Volunteering boosts wellbeing, confidence, purpose and social connection. You’ll meet new people, build friendships, learn new skills and be part of something meaningful.
🌍 It keeps activities affordable and accessible - Your time helps keep the hall’s costs low, ensuring groups, clubs, children’s activities, and family events remain accessible to everyone, including those who need them most.
