Come along on Saturday 23rd August, from 1:00pm – 5:00pm, for a fantastic afternoon packed with fun, entertainment, and community spirit!
🎶 Borthwick and District Pipe Band will officially open the fête.
🤠 Enjoy a Line Dancing Demonstration by the A7 Stompers.
🐶 Enter your four-legged friend into our Best Dressed Dog Competition.
🎠 Enjoy a FREE bucking bronco, FREE bouncy castle, and FREE face painting for everyone!
🍔 Tuck into delicious hot dogs and burgers, and don't miss the bar, which will be open throughout the afternoon.
🍰 Treat yourself to delicious homebaking, ice creams, and refreshments.
🎟️ Browse our stalls, try your luck in the raffle and tombola, pet the donkey, get your bike a health check and enjoy plenty of games and activities for all ages.
Whether you're a local resident or visiting the area, there's something for everyone. Bring your family, friends, and even your dog for a brilliant summer afternoon!

Previous Events
Middleton Village Community Hall has hosted a wide range of successful community events over the years. These have included Pétanque & Pizza evenings, Six Nations screenings, Paella Night, Cocktails & Canapés, and traditional Afternoon Tea gatherings.
Larger annual events such as the Village Summer Fete and Christmas Craft Fairs continue to be highlights in the calendar, alongside regular favourites like Bingo and Quiz Nights.
Together, these events reflect the variety of activities the hall supports, from relaxed social evenings to well-attended village celebrations, all helping to keep the hall active and well used throughout the year at Middleton Village Community Hall.
Food Pop-Ups
Middleton Village Community Hall has also welcomed a range of popular food pop-ups, giving the community the chance to enjoy great local catering right on their doorstep. From traditional favourites with Muirs Chip Shop, to freshly made pizzas from Woode Oven Wonders and flavour-packed barbecue from JB's Smokeshack, these events have been well supported and thoroughly enjoyed.
We’re always keen to collaborate with local food vendors and bring new tastes to the village, so keep an eye out for future pop-ups and special food nights at Middleton Village Community Hall.
